Greetings to our members
As we move into the second quarter of the year, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your continued support and dedication during Quarter 1. Your commitment to our Post, our veterans, and our community is what keeps our mission strong. Because of you, we continue to make a meaningful impact.
We also extend our sincere appreciation for your participation in selecting the officers for the upcoming year. Your engagement in this process ensures that our Post remains active, representative, and forward-moving. We are confident that our newly selected leadership team will serve with pride and purpose.
Looking ahead, we have several important and exciting events coming up:
Important Dates and Reminders
Officer Installation – April 24th
We invite all members to join us as we officially install our newly elected officers. This is an important tradition that reflects the strength and continuity of our organization. Your presence helps show support for those stepping into leadership roles.
First Annual Cribbage Tournament – April 25th
We’re excited to host our first annual cribbage tournament! This event is a great opportunity for camaraderie, friendly competition, and fun within the Post. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking to enjoy the atmosphere, we hope to see you there.
Legion Family Meeting – May 18th
We will be holding a Legion Family meeting bringing together members and representatives from the American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, and the Auxiliary. This is an important opportunity to strengthen communication, align our efforts, and continue building a unified approach to serving our veterans and community. All are encouraged to attend and participate.
Memorial Day Observances
As always, one of the most meaningful times of the year for our Post is Memorial Day. We look forward to coming together to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We encourage all members to participate in the Memorial Day services and parade as we pay our respects with dignity and pride.
Very Respectfully
Keith
